Babysitting Co-op
Are you a parent looking for affordable childcare on an informal basis? Have you considered joining a babysitting co-op? In Southwood, our co-op has been growing in popularity, largely because no money changes hands – only an exchange of services. As an added benefit, families with children of the same age can develop a social network in their own neighbourhood. All it takes is a few motivated and nurturing parents with a telephone.
